Afghan health workers and medical facilities under threat

Attacks on medical facilities and staff during global conflicts remained high last year.

A new report has documented attacks in 23 countries. including Afghanistan, during 2016.

It’s being released on the anniversary of a UN resolution aimed at protecting healthcare services in conflict zones.
